ISO Certification
The Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture in Tripoli and North
Lebanon (CCIAT) is committed to provide its members with a superior quality
service, with the aim of getting a 100% satisfied client. In this quest, and
since excellence starts from within, the chamber has adopted international
quality management standards (QMS) in its operations, which qualified it to get
the ISO 9001-2000 certification. Thanks to the dedication of the chamber's
board of directors represented by its president Mr. Abdallah
Ghandour, and their commitment to quality, alongside
with the perseverance of all the staff, CCIAT has been able to maintain a high
level of quality in its operations. The result was passing the external control
audits performed by CERTQUA, which is one of the most important certification
bodies in Germany (The audit was done by Mr. Stefan Kraemer, CEO of the rps.de
AG and partner of CERTQUA since 1996), and getting the ISO 9001-2000 certification
for four consecutive years.
Perhaps someone will say that this is something important for industrial,
commercial, agricultural or servicing companies but is it important for the
Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Tripoli?
It is important, because the chamber is not only a place where you have to go
for the renewal of your membership or to get a certificate of origin. The
chamber is also a place to get
- new ideas for
new business
- consultancy in implementing
new IT structure
- help for export
problems
- consultancy for
new international regulations like the ISO 9001:2000
- training on IT
and Languages
